What does EAC do?
Excel Admissions Consulting (EAC) advises students and young professionals to help them achieve their academic and career goals. EAC Founder Rachel Schlau establishes long-term, supportive partnerships with her students. She understands how to identify and showcase students’ strengths, helping them to gain a competitive edge. By creating educational plans as early as 9th or 10th grade, Rachel ensures that students follow a consistent, authentic track to help them fulfill their dreams.
Rachel’s Bio & Background
With interests in global health, wellness and helping others, Rachel pursued a degree in Neuroscience (fka Biological Basis of Behavior) as a pre-medical student at the University of Pennsylvania. Rachel’s beliefs in the benefits of wellness and positive thinking energize her students and help motivate them to stay on course to attain their goals. What Sets EAC Apart?
100% Focus and Care from our CEO
As CEO, Rachel ensures that EAC only works with a limited number of clients each year so that every student and family receives the full, one-on-one attention they deserve. No application, resume, or cover letter is submitted without Rachel personally offering her final input.
All-in-One Solution
You have access to every service you need to be admitted or hired under our one EAC roof. That is, all of our coaches and partners are personally vetted and approved by our CEO, so every advisor is world-class and speaks to each other in real time during your time with us.
A World-Class Network
EAC boasts a world-class network of students, professionals, and scholars. So, EAC students can tap into this network to build their resume and learn from the success of others. Rachel loves connecting people she cares about because the EAC network prides itself on long-term relationships and giving back to others!
Giving Back
Rachel’s roots in global health and public service permeate all areas of her practice. Rachel encourages EAC students to give back. Past students have founded nonprofits, started regional chapters of foundations, and created social enterprises like hers which do well by doing good for others.
Long-term Partnership with You
EAC treats each student as a long-term partner; students who start with us as freshmen or sophomores in high school routinely work with us, as they apply for jobs and graduate schools. Why?! Because we stay in touch throughout the years. Need help picking courses as a pre-med student? Want to find the right summer internship before senior year of college? Just shoot us a text!
